What are the differences between AAA memberships?
AAA offers three membership tiers: Classic, Plus and Premier. All three plans offer roadside assistance, but while the Classic plan offers towing anywhere within seven miles of service, the Plus and Premier plans offer 100-mile tows and a one-time 200-mile tow, respectively, plus free delivery and fuel if you run out of gas. Plus and Premier also offer higher claim limits for locksmith services.
How many times can I call roadside assistance in a year?
Customers get four free calls to AAA Roadside Assistance each year. If you have two members on your account, you each get four calls for a total of eight. If you need more than that allotment in a year, you may still call AAA, but you will pay a special member price for the roadside call.
Do I have to be a AAA member to book a trip with its travel agents?
Yes. AAA travel planning and other AAA services are members-only benefits.
Can I use roadside assistance on the day I sign up for membership?
No. You must wait for 24 hours after signing up to use your roadside assistance benefit.
